Just one more thing from what Sung quoted,
    “Less is More”
Although I’ve forgotten who actullay said this, I’ve never heard a beautiful idea like this. I think this help us pursue and appreciate a simple life.

  2. First time I heard the term was in my architectural class during 70s. Mies van der Rohe, Germany born US modern architect, though certainly other people used in various modern art industries, applied in great deal to his design making building simpler keeping only essential elements. Most recent usage was during the Copenhagen Climate Summit hoping less fossil fuel emission, more clean energy for sustainable future of global world.

  3. Very cool blog guys! Love the photos!

The experience I had with the plant was quite extraordinary. I was helping a friend doing some weeding and pulled on the stem of it, not knowing what I was handling. I was in dire pain for a while; then I felt this healing energy that relaxed me which left me thinking I need this plant. Now 10 years later, I bought some to make tea for joint pain. Will let you know how it works…if not I will try to make a tincture.

    Blessings,
    Jo

Wow, well said, “During silent meditation and prayer, we become free from troubling thoughts, detach ourselves from what our bodies and minds crave and our highest potentials are awakened.”

I’d like to share that quote with others. I especially like this post and I’m glad I ran into it. I do agree that we can reach our highest potentials if we could just tap into it by practicing silence and just clearing all that clutter that may be in our our minds.

My blog at http://www.kimbundance.com resonates with these posts and I enjoy sharing these great thoughts with others.

    namaste.

    Hey Myra House,
My name is Christine and I am a student living in Azusa looking for a place to live for the full month of August. I heard about your home through my close friend Natalie, who recently visited. She raved about how warm and beautiful your home was. She also told me about the work she did in the garden and how much she was able to learn that day. I am very interested in learning more about living a sustainable lifestyle and would love the practice. I was hoping to apply to live at the Myra house for August. I would be able to pay rent and/or work for you. Thank you for your time!
    Blessings,
    Christine Fannin
