Path into a New Journey
“Very scenic and peaceful accommodations. Myra and Sung were very helpful and kind. A retreat in every sense. So much more than what we expected.” “One of the best retreat experiences we’ve had. Lovely host and amazing space – inside and out. Built with so much love and thoughtfulness. We will be back! Thank you Sung & Myra!”
Myra House has hosted many retreatants this year from different countries besides United States: England, China, Switzerland and Germany so on. As quotes from our guestbook above the facility seems offering a quite nourishing and pleasing space for those eco-philia visitors. Most bustling season was spring when Earth center events were happened. Disciple Seminary Foundation’s students came by for “Body, Mind, and World Awareness.” Claremont School of Theology’s group had a class for the “Seizing an Alternative: Toward an Ecological Civilization.” Among many grateful things I can list three:
1. ONE year old B-day celebration (Dohl JanChi) in July for our first & only grandson whom I never felt such ever refreshing love. Myra and I have been taking care of Cheonsoo few hours every Saturday since September. Our boding together keeps me happy and young.
2. My son’s wedding ceremony in August me presiding as officiant. Father-son love grew to the highest peak when we walk together near 800 miles’ backpack trail before he found a girl. Last Saturday of August, it was warm summer night. It was my son David’s wedding night. The night was nothing but full of splendors: beautiful couple, beautiful guests, beautiful music, beautiful speeches. The most unforgettable long summer night!
3. Ecoterra found a new location after going through many huddles of struggle for survival since its opening. From daybreak to sundown during June and July Myra and my timing was captivated by tenaciously demanding work cycle taking care of a grand project. Old Ecoterra moved out completing 10 years’ lease. New Ecoterra is comprise of compounding pharmacy and acupuncture clinic. I really love my new vocation treating patients what was rediscovered beyond my pastoral duty since October. Now Myra and I work in the same building. For those 10 years I learned hardest lesson “love never give up.”
Most loving comforter! Come into our lives and takes a charge in our lives where your peace and your love fill every corner of the house with supreme beauty.
